Whoso offereth the sacrifice of thanksgiving glorifieth me; And to him that ordereth his way aright Will I show the salvation of God.  (Psa 50:23 ASV)

He who brings an offering of praise and thanksgiving honors and glorifies Me; and he who orders his way aright [who prepares the way that I may show him], to him I will demonstrate the salvation of God.  (Psa 50:23 AMP)

Happy New Month. Today is the beginning of the second quarter of the year 2013. It is April 1, 2013. It is our Thanksgiving and Testimonies Month – the first month in the second quarter of 2013. What a priviledge it is to see this month in sound health and well-being. We give all the praise to God who alone has spared and kept us this far.

God says “Whoever offers praise glorifies Me”. If that be the case, shouldn’t we offer God more praise than we have done in time past? The hymn writer says to count our blessings and name them one by one. The Lord inhabits the praises of His people. He rewards a grateful heart.

Thanksgiving must be our life and hobby. It must become our lifestyle and character; anything short of this must be addressed in our lives. We all must drop our worries, complaints, anxieties and concerns and lose sight of the mundane things with which life may want to weigh us down. We must guard hearts and rid ourselves of everything that may want to deny us a heart given to and full of praise to God.

Friend, your testimonies, not your complaints, are a sign of gratitude to God; moreover they will lift the faith and hope of someone. Don’t hold them back!

As we start this month today and continue throughout this month, concentrate on God. Throw your dancing steps and give God your very best in thanksgiving. Let no one out-do you in praises and thanksgiving this month. God deserves our all. Halleluyah!
