If there is anything I am sure about that God has asked of me this year, it is that my progress may be evident to all. If you are a student of the Bible, you will know that the above expectation is taken from 1 Timothy 4:15.
As I waited on God on the last day of the previous year, God spoke to my heart about 1 Timothy 4:15 – that thy profiting may appear to all (KJV). I felt overwhelmed by that divine expectation of me. I cried and prayed for God’s help as he spoke those words to me. I am not going to run the race ahead of me on what God told someone else; I am fully persuaded of what God told me, and I am going to be fully committed to just that one thing this year.
Jesus spoke to Martha about only one thing being needful (Luke 10:42), and many successful people will tell you that focus is one unbeatable secret to success and greatness in life. What is that one thing God spoke to you about this year? What are you to get committed to doing for the Lord this year? What will God measure you against this year? Have you received the divine rubrics for the next 300+ days ahead of you this year?
As we journey on, let us pay attention to whatever God has spoken to us and live by it until we enter into His purpose for our lives.
I ask you to join me this year to ask God for the following requests:
- Father, make me a messenger of your divine revelation, I don’t want to be an apostle of the letters, for the letter kills but the Spirit gives life. Cause me to be an apostle of your divine revelation all the days of my life in the Name of Jesus.
- Father, make me a lover of your Word and let every Word of the Scriptures come alive to me this year in the Name of Jesus. I don’t want to explain the letters, I want to declare the divine revelations of God and that alone in the Name of Jesus.
- Father, let my profiting appear to all around me and globally all the days of my life in the Name of Jesus.
- Father, make me a Vessel of Praise and a Voice of thanksgiving to You all the days of my life in the Name of Jesus.
- Father, make me an epitome of gratitude to You and everyone around me all the days of my life in the Name of Jesus.
- Father, make me a living proof of your divine favor and Loving kindness; an evidence of your Mercy and Grace all the days of my life in the Name of Jesus.
- Father, make me a carrier of your Presence and a dispenser of your divine Love all the days of my life in the Name of Jesus.
- Father, make me a Channel of your Power and an Ambassador of your divine Authority all the days of my life in the Name of Jesus.
- Father, make a Communicator of your divine truth and a Fisher of Men more than ever before, all the days of my life in the Name of Jesus.
- Father, shield and protect me and my entire family and friends from all harms and onslaughts of the enemy all the days of my life in the Name of Jesus.
- Father, give me Peace and Joy unspeakable all around me all the days of my life in the Name of Jesus.
Spend some time to thank the Lord for answered prayers.
Tomorrow, I will continue my series on the four commandments of Jesus.
Shalom!
And God bless You.
