This is the day that the Lord has made I will rejoice and be glad in it! It is Day 38 of the 40 Days of return to the Lord. Today’s instruction from the Lord is to return to God with precious souls in your hand for Him. Go back to the lifestyle of witnessing Jesus everywhere. Be fruitful and Multiply in Jesus’ name.
Who is a Witness of Jesus?
A witness is someone who has firsthand knowledge of Jesus Christ, about His life, ministry, and purpose. In law, a witness is someone who, either voluntarily or under compulsion, provides testimonial evidence, either oral or written, of what he or she knows or claims to know. Do you know Jesus? I don’t mean if you have seen Him face to face. If you have a relationship with Jesus then you are qualified to invite people to experience Jesus. As the saying goes, you can’t possibly give what you don’t have.
What Do I Say to People about Jesus?
The main thing is to be prepared in your heart to share the good news of Jesus to the world, to take it personal like you know that the time is short. Scriptures say don’t worry in advance about what to say. Just say what God tells you at that time, for it is not you who will be speaking, but the Holy Spirit. You don’t need a sermon notebook to be a witness for Jesus, but you need a life of fellowship that is strengthened through prayer and meditation on the word. Learning daily to listen and speak out whatever the inward man says, to speak as He commands you.
Speak up Don’t Remain Silent Now
The truth is there is little God can do about the conversion of souls if you refuse to work with Him. You are a partner with God in business to make profits and expand the influence and power of the kingdom of God here on earth. God needs your mouth to reach the world, He gave you your mouth for free to speak His counsel to the world. It is time for you to lend your voice in the kingdom matter. Let the world know where you stand, by what you do and say. Thank God for the servant girl of Naaman, who did not keep quiet about the power and glory of the God of Israel. You don’t need a title or position to be a witness or an intimidating CV. God is looking for ways to reach the world through your daily work. Find ways to reach people through your work. Halleluyah!!!
Go into all the World
All the world could mean the various mountains of influence that exist in the world. These are specific spheres that you work or are called into. They include:
- Religion: This includes the church, ministries, and other faiths that exist.
- Family and marriage: The children, teenagers, youth, singles, parenting, husband, and the wife.
- Education: the mountain of education includes; the childcare, preschool, elementary, middle and high school, universities, colleges, and educators.
- Business: These are people in the marketplace, those involved with buying and selling.
- Government: The political spheres at the local, national, and international levels, the judiciary system.
- Media: The press, television, radio, internet, social media, and social networking.
- Arts and entertainment: This mountain is often referred to as the celebration sphere
Identify your mountain of influence, the place where God has made you powerful. Take God’s kingdom there, let your light shine, and let the people see God’s glory. We need to see God’s glory in all these mountains. That will not happen if you fail to put your voice for the Lord.
Preach the Good News
The world is hungry for good news, there is too much bad news flying everywhere invoking fear and demonic influences upon people. You need to arise and speak the good news of joy, healing, salvation, hope, restoration, and gladness. Don’t join the world to spread fear. Choose to speak words of faith rooted in scriptures, Let the word of God rule. The good news is the message of Jesus to the world. Blow it out like a trumpet, as life depends on it. Don’t fall into the pit of preaching your experience, history, or other people’s experience, rather you are asked to preach the good news. The good news is powerful in itself, it doesn’t need dressing. Simply say, the Kingdom of God is here! Repent of your sins and believe in Jesus.
The Good News is for Everyone
Jesus died for all human beings. Both male and female, children, and the aged, from every race, tribe, and nation, Jesus is not a racist, so check and make sure you are not one. Preach the good news to every race, they all deserve to be saved because Jesus died for all, preach to all. To preach is to talk. Don’t concentrate on the physical appearances, look past the stature, eloquence, position, power, and title rather look inward. Ask the Father to share His heart with you.
Finally, scriptures say in Mark 16:15 to go into all the world and preach the Good News to everyone. The truth is every person you meet is either on their way to destruction or life, and God may be putting you in their path to intercept them and bring about a change of mind that will lead them to life and a genuine search for God. Submit yourself to God as God is willing to work through you just as you are! Amen.
