Gather up the fragments

When they were completely satisfied, he told his disciples “Collect the pieces that are left over so that nothing is lost.” So they collected them and filled twelve baskets with the pieces of the five barley loaves left over by those who had eaten.  (John 6:12-13 ISV)

My aim today is not to preach any sermon or to teach a topic; rather we want to see how God will help us to faithfully collect the pieces of His Word to fill up the vacuum baskets so that we can have fullness. God will be speaking to us a variety of things, with the sole aim of healing up wounds in the hearts, removing fear and putting our minds and hearts in the right and perfect frame.

As the year runs to an end, God is concerned about bringing rest to our souls and causing us to experience the fullness of peace and joy. As he sends his word to us bit by bit and in their pieces and fragments, the needs of our various souls will be bountifully met in his presence.

….” So they collected them and filled twelve baskets with the pieces…” From the collection of the pieces, they had fullness; twelve different baskets were filled to the brim. That is what I see God do in our lives as we meet today. Even as we go through the week, it is expedient that we open up our spirit to God because his word will come to us in pieces to make us whole and to give us the fullness our heart has always longed for.

Please remember that this is our month of Divine performance. We do not serve a God who cannot keep his word; he has never failed, and he will never fail us. Let us be faithful in looking up to him, the long-awaited miracle is now. I don’t have any doubt about that. Great week ahead!
