The attitude of thanksgiving sets a person on altitudes that are attainable with God. The heart of gratitude looks at the completed work of Jesus and responds to life events through those lenses. Understanding that the blood Jesus was shed for redemption and forgiveness of sins was for you, making this personal to you will lead to thanksgiving. Keep this understanding to sustain your gratitude towards God the Father. Do you believe God raised you with Christ from the dead to live like Jesus on earth? The evidence of this work makes us abound in the grace of God, divine blessings, and divine favor. God’s generosity toward you – the priceless gift of salvation, should make you abound in thanksgiving. Gratitude paves the way for you into the riches of God’s glory 2 Cor. 9:15.
Express Thankfulness
Abundance comes through thanksgiving. The things you are not thankful for in your life will soon be lost. Count your blessings and name them one by one and you will be surprised to see what the Lord has done for you and your family. Show your gratitude for the gifts and favors you have received from God and man. Express your thankfulness in different ways – prayer of thanksgiving, singing songs of thanks, obedience, and dancing. To overflow in thanksgiving, work to meet the needs of people, and will be amazed at how much thanks they will raise in your account. Scriptures say thanks be to God for His indescribable gift! 2 Cor 9:15.Become intentional about filling your tank with thanks.
The Truth
Giving thanks to God who rescued you from the dominion of sin and satan into the kingdom of light. You have an inheritance with the saints through Christ. Victory is secured in life in Jesus’ name. The truth you know will set you free and put you on top of your game in life. Jesus is the way and the truth and the life. He leads you into all the truths concerning His finished work on the cross. For you to walk in the light of all He has done and see your situation through His truth. The Holy Spirit on the inside helps us understand the will of God and how we can live in a way that the fragrance aroma of the gospel of Christ will spread to the people around us.
God always leads us to triumph – He is got His hand on your life and He is working all things for your good. He has not promised a trouble-free life but we have an assurance of victory on every front. When God’s victory becomes evident to people, they will eventually acknowledge the supernatural hand of God upon their life and will be drawn by it. Shalom!
Confession
For this reason, seeing the greatness of God’s plan by which I am built together in Christ, I bow my knees before the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, For Whom every family in heaven and on earth is named. That Father from Whom all fatherhood takes its title and derives its name. Thank you, Lord, for You grant me out of the rich treasury of His glory to be strengthened and reinforced with mighty power in the inner man by the Holy Spirit Himself indwelling my innermost being and personality. I am grateful that Christ through my faith actually dwells in my heart! To be rooted deep in love and founded securely on love, That I may have the power and be strong to apprehend and grasp with all God’s devoted people, the experience of that love. What is the breadth and length and height and depth of it; That I may really come to know practically, through experience for myself the love of Christ, which far surpasses mere knowledge without experience; that I may be filled through all my being unto all the fullness of God. That I may have the richest measure of the divine Presence, and become a body wholly filled and flooded with God Himself! Now to Him Who, by in consequence of the action of His power that is at work within me, is able to carry out His purpose and do superabundantly, far over and above all that we dare ask or think infinitely beyond our highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes, or dreams– To Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations forever and ever. Amen. Ephesians 3:14-21 AMPC
