PRAISE THE Lord! (Hallelujah!) Praise, O servants of the Lord, praise the name of the Lord! Blessed be the name of the Lord from this time forth and forever From the rising of the sun to the going down of it and from east to west, the name of the Lord is to be praised! (Ps 113:1-3, AMP)
In God’s agenda, all of us are expected to live for the pleasure and glory of God (Revelations 4:11). We are called to express His Praise (Isaiah 43:21). God wants us to come higher to a realm of Glory, where He Himself dwells. One of the ways to access God’s highest realm is to praise His Name. As children of God, who serve Him in spirit and in truth, we must get more committed to God, worshiping Him in the beauty of His holiness.
How do we praise the LORD? How do we praise His Name? By singing? Yes, that is one way. By declaring His Names and meditating on the power and Expression of His Name in our lives. God’s Name is God’s identity. His Name tell us about Him, who He is.
Today, I exhort you to spend time meditating on the Names of God. Think about what those Names mean to you and how God has manifested Himself to you at one time or the other by His Names. He is Jehovah Rapha, the Lord who heals you. Praise Him for healing all your diseases and infirmities. Thank Him for giving you sound health. He is Jehovah Jireh, the Lord your provider. He is your helper and sustenance, always meeting your need.
There is nothing you are looking for that is not in the Name of the LORD. Bible says in Acts 4:12 that salvation can only be found in the Name of the LORD. The Name of the Lord Jesus is the only Name that saves from sin and hell, sickness and failing health, failure and poverty, and assures a man of a home with God in the life to come.
Think more about How God has been good to you in all your life. And if it appears life has been undesirable for you, there is hope and help in the Name of Jesus. The Name of the LORD is a Strong Tower, you need to run into it and find safety (Proverbs 18:10). Why won’t you praise the LORD? You are still alive!
What does the Name of the LORD mean to you? For me, the Name of the LORD is the source of my life, strength, wisdom, provision, healing and health, breakthrough, power and authority, grace, prosperity, safety, success. It is all things to me. It is my place of Refuge in the Storms of life and in the days of trouble. Hallelujah! His Name is full of Power. Hallelujah! The Lord’s Name works wonders. As you proceed through the days and years ahead of you, go along with the Name of the LORD; Spend time mediating and praising the Name of the LORD, and you will enjoy perfect peace and victory within and all around you (Isaiah 26:3, Psalm 119:165), even in the midst of storms. Make it a way of life from now on to Praise the Name of the LORD. You will see the wonders of God!
